Meeting the ‘Demand’
Comcast offering viewers inside look at the PGA Championship Comcast On Demand is getting into the PGA action this year. With the 90th PGA Championship being played at Oakland Hills Golf Club Aug. 4-10, Comcast is offering viewers and exclusive look. Comcast TV is on-site daily at the Championship, filming many of the top golfers. The footage is then edited into highlights and is available the following day on Comcast On Demand. “If people have to work and they want to catch up, we’ll have highlights for them,” said Comcast’s Patrick Paterno. “I think it’s kind of what people are looking for.” Viewers are also treated to highlights from past PGA Championship events, golf tips and spectator guides featuring tours of the Oakland Hills clubhouse.
