Family Film Festival scheduled
for Main Art Theatre

ROYAL OAK — A host of family-friendly movies will be shown for free at the Royal Oak Main Art Theatre Friday-Sunday, Sept. 26-28, as part of the first Family Film Festival put on by the The Oaks church.
“It’s our way of giving to the community,” said Chris Bradshaw, the founder of the festival and pastor of the church, which meets at the theater weekly. “Our goal is to have four different movies being shown throughout the weekend.”
The schedule for the movies is as follows:
•
Sept. 26: 6:30 p.m., “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian”;
•
Sept. 27: 10 a.m., “Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who!”; noon, “Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium”; 2:05 p.m., “Night at the Museum”; 4:30 p.m., “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian”;
•
Sept. 28: 10:30 a.m., “Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who!”
Free ticket distribution will begin 45 minutes prior to each showing. The theater is located at 118 N. Main St., Royal Oak.
